The material predominately relates to Harvey's interest in health care, employment equity, education, and income security issues. Fonds consists of a diary and correspondence. The personal diary, 1952-1957, discusses weather, family and social activities, and some medical activities, and includes enclosures of programmes, invitations and clippings. The correspondence, 1954-59, is regarding publications and a journalism course.

Fonds consists of records documenting Gilberts thoughts and experiences from childhood to early adulthood. The fonds have been arranged in four series: 1) academic and employment records; 2) correspondence; 3) journals; and 4) unbound prose and poetry.

Fonds reflects Niela Miller’s public involvement in transgender education and counseling of the trans* community and “gender identity explorers.” Miller’s work, focused primarily in the United States, is represented here in the records of her workshops, presentations, and publications. Fonds consists of correspondence, notes, photographs, publications and reviews, brochures, graphic materials, audiocassettes, and other materials.
