The Building of Change Project was initiated to document the historical, cultural, political and local importance of the Central Building in Victoria, British Columbia, and the legacy of the community activists and service groups that worked there. The project was sponsored by the UVic Department of Womens Studies and several community groups. Project coordinators were Lisa Helps and Maya Gislason. The project included oral history interviews with activists and video recordings of special events.
