History

The Clayoquot Resource Centre was established in Victoria, B.C., in 1993 to provide social, economic and legal support to people arrested in the 1993 Clayoqout blockade. The blockade developed as a strategy to challenge the forestry practices of MacMillan Bloedel in the Clayoquot area. The Centre closed in 1994 after the trials were completed.
