History

Donald Crouch, born 1940 on a ranch in New Mexico, taught at Western Illinois University for 46 years while actively pursuing his own art. Throughout his prolific career Crouch has been engaged with what he refers to as “The Cycle of the West” which incorporates the natural environment, archaeology and history of the South Western United States in particular. He works in all mediums and taught printmaking, painting, drawing and sculpture.
