Edith Iglauer (or Edith Iglauer Hamburger, born March 10, 1917) was an American writer. She wrote several non-fiction books, including "The New People: The Eskimo's Journey Into Our Time" (1966); "Denison's Ice Road" (1974), a profile of the ice road engineer John Denison; and "Seven Stones: A Portrait of Arthur Erickson, Architect" (1981). She was also a freelance writer for "The New Yorker", "Harper's", "The Atlantic Monthly", and "Geist" magazine.

The fonds consists of correspondence, writings, family papers, personal papers, photographs, and printed material relating to the life and career of Edith Iglauer. Drafts of writings pertain to Iglauer’s essays for her books and magazine articles. The materials also relate to Edith’s family, including her parents, Jay Iglauer and Bertha Good Iglauer, first husband Philip Hamburger and their sons Jay and Richard Hamburger, second husband John Daly, and third husband, Frank White.
