Letter from Clarkson Stanfield to Davie, October 6, 1857. Autograph Letter Signed, to "My dear Davie", about a visit to Manchester. "Hampstead Oct 6th, 1857 My dear Davie, You [?] got my notes before you left Bonchurch and I merely wrote this to say I am still improving and I hope [to?] think about Thursday week 'the 15th' I may be able to visit Manchester but I am by no means certain about it [then?] therefore you must not wait for me but I should like very much to see you on your return. Ever truly, C Stansfield"
