George Galt (b. 1948) is a Canadian author, poet and editor. His works include "Love Poems" (1974); "Trailing Pythagoras" (1982); "Whistlestop: A Journey Across Canada" (1987); "Scribes and Scoundrels" (1997). He was the associate editor and book reviews editor for Saturday Night and edited the books "The Purdy-Woodcock Letters: Selected Correspondence, 1964-1984" (1980); "The Saturday Night Traveller" (1990); "The Thinking Heart: Best Canadian Essays" (1991).
