George Home has been active in labour politics in British Columbia and Canada for many years. During the 1950s he served as Secretary-Treasurer of the British Columbia Federation of Labour, and in 1960 was appointed Director, Political Education Department, Canadian Labour Congress. He has published many articles, including articles on political education programs in Canadian Transport magazines. He lives in Surrey, B.C.
