The series includes ca. 1,300 issues of ca. 435 ephemeral, fugitive, and underground periodical/occasional and monograph publications, 1960s and later, mostly published in Canada, the US, and Europe, relating to anarchy, gay/lesbian/transgender rights, environmental issues, First Nations and indigenous peoples, war, etc.

The fonds reflects Norman Nawrocki’s interest and participation in the anarchist movement and numerous activist organizations, as well as his role at Open Road and his career as a musician and sex educator. Fonds includes newspaper clippings, journals, newsletters, monographs, photocopied and printed articles, pamphlets, leaflets, correspondence, notes, audiocassette tapes, posters, and ephemera.
