Sub-series consists of records relating to the proposal and planning of the Seattle Center Marine Park and the selling of the Seattle Marine Aquarium.

Records include correspondence, financial records, architectural drawings, newspaper clippings, design plans and proposals, meeting minutes, and promotional materials. Of particular note is the bill of sale for Seattle Marine Aquarium and Namu Inc. from Ted Griffin to Don Goldsberry.

Series consists of records related to the Washington Marine Mammal Legislation of 1971, newspapers and publications collected by Griffin, and publications about Griffin.

Of particular note is "The Namu" ship logbook from 1968, the extensive collection of newspaper clippings about Namu, drafts of the 1971 Marine Mammal Bill, and correspondence with government representatives and oceanarium clients.
