The university employment series includes curricula vitae, job applications, and self evaluation files which document Roberts employment history and her publications and committee work, etc. The university teaching series includes course outlines, take home exams, and student handouts which shed light on her approach to teaching. The grant applications and publications series together provide an overview of the range and direction of Roberts' research interests. While most of the series are based on record type, the Gertrude Richardson research and Leicester Peace Society Research series are arranged by subject and contain correspondence and grant applications; the Gertrude Richardson Research series also contains conference papers. The Women's movement and Peace movement series both contain correspondence, although some correspondence pertaining to them will be found in the miscellaneous and family correspondence series. While the miscellaneous and family correspondence series consist almost entirely of inward correspondence, both contain a few printouts of e-mail correspondence or letters from Roberts which shed light on her daily life and research projects. The Canadian Women Peace Activists series contains interviews about and with Canadian women who were peace activists before 1960.

Fonds consists of six files of research material used in the production of Sedgwick's master of arts thesis concerning the Chinese community in Victoria, B.C.: The Context of Economic Change and Continuity in an Urban Overseas Chinese Community. The fonds includes photographs not reproduced in the thesis. The files consist of the following: 1.1 Essay, Categories and Techniques of Fund Raising in an Overseas Chinese Community, Sedgwick, Charles P., May 1973 1.2 Photographs: 24 prints b&w and colour relating to Victoria Chinatown events, scenes and businesses. Fonds consists of records of the Malahat Review (Issues 1 through 64) and includes typescripts of articles, short stories and poems submitted to the magazine; galley proofs, page proofs; minutes of meetings of the Malahat Review Editorial Board; general financial and administrative records relating to the magazine's founding by Robin Skelton and John Peter; correspondence of Skelton and Peter concerning submissions to the magazine, requests for submissions to special issues, the magazine's financial crisis in 1975 and appeals to subscribers for support; account books recording works submitted; photographs; press releases; newsclippings.

Fonds reflects Niela Miller’s public involvement in transgender education and counseling of the trans* community and “gender identity explorers.” Miller’s work, focused primarily in the United States, is represented here in the records of her workshops, presentations, and publications. Fonds consists of correspondence, notes, photographs, publications and reviews, brochures, graphic materials, audiocassettes, and other materials.
