The fonds consists of an oversized volume containing a copy of a waterworks grant for Preston, Lancashire; indentures for Robert Abbatt. Also includes courtship correspondence between Jonathan Abbatt and Mary Dilworth, plus photocopies and floppy disks of same. The letters chronicle the courtship, discussions of faith, local events, shared sentiments, etc.

The collection consists of typewritten and handwritten business correspondence, notes, telegrams, and legal documents; one oversized b&w photograph 1906 (group photograph on lake shore); a photocopy of an unidentified book chapter (chapter 5) regarding history of Kettle Valley and Midway & Vernon Railway.

The fonds consists of a MS notebook (photocopy) and transcript of Major Charles McDowall Smyth's account of the end of WWI and the Armistice, dated Nov. 12, 1918. Smyth was in the Canadian Engineers in France and Belgium. Biographical materials include photocopies of photographs and obituary.

Geoffrey Murray Downton collection
The collection consists of Downton's handwritten (photocopied) reminiscences of the Great War, 1914-1918. Also included is "A short account of a pilgrimage made by my wife and myself" in 1928. There are two copies of each. The second copy has a handwritten note to Downton from Reg (Roy) in 1968. The first copy has the stamp of G. Smedley Andrews.

In addition, there is a small amount of biographic information.

George William Russell collection
The collection consists mostly of correspondence from Russell about his social and literary activities. The vast majority of this correspondence is to William K. Magee. There are a few letters to Charles Weekes, Robert Graves, and Miss Buxton. In addition, there is a letter from AE's son Diarmuid Russell to Magee re Magee's proposed biography of AE and a photocopy of a letter (transcript) to Judge Richard Campbell from Dudley Digges re Campbell's broadcast "Farewell to AE". Other materials include a few clippings about AE (obit etc.) and an undated b/w photo of AE.
