Yeats Symposium. The fonds include typescripts, galley and page proofs, correspondence, and a complete set of the typescripts of essays presented at the Yeats Symposium.

Fonds consists of materials that document many of the performances given by Kaleidoscope Theatre Productions, as well as the writing and directing activities of Liz Gorrie. Fonds includes both bound and unbound scripts, director’s notes, photocopies of newspaper and magazine articles, music sheets, programs, advertisements, two photographs, VHS tapes, audiocassette tapes, compact disks, one 8mm videotape and one floppy disk.

Hal Lawrence collection

The collection consists of audio tapes of 120 interviews that Lawrence conducted between 1980 and 1990 with naval personnel, several female officers and ratings. Fonds includes several interview transcripts, correspondence relating to one interview, a captain's night order book (HMCS Portage), and the text of an address. The additional fonds consist of manuscripts for books and articles written by Hal Lawrence, correspondence, clippings and photographs related to his navel career. The fonds also include personal and professional documents and correspondence, navel oral history material, several navel maps and transparencies, miscellaneous publications and ephemera. The fonds is arranged in eight series: 1) Manuscripts; 2) Oral histories; 3) Correspondence; 4) Photographic materials; 5) Newspaper clippings and reviews; 6) Personal and professional documents; 7) Published materials and ephemera; 8) Maps and transparencies.

The fonds consists of Livesay's files on Canadian Literature, 1967-1974; teaching files on Canadian authors used for her Canadian literature courses, 1967-1974; and audio tapes of her interviews with various poets, 1964-1974, including Jean Crawley, Alan Crawley, Michael Crawley and Pierre Coupey, as well as a reading of poems for children by Red (Richard Stanley) Lane.

Douglas Goldring fonds

The fonds consists of drafts of his works, including handwritten manuscripts, typescripts and carbon copies with sometimes extensive corrections of much of his published work and several unpublished titles; correspondence from personal friends and publishers; Goldring's letters to the editor; diaries and notebooks, 1903-1960; newspaper clipping files; and a Goldring biography file. Names of correspondents include: Richard Aldington, John Betjeman, T.S. Eliot, Emma Goldman, Aldous Huxley, W.S. Maugham, and Alec and Evelyn Waugh. The largest correspondence files are from Mary Butts, Ethel Mannin and Louis Wilkinson. Also included is a file of correspondence from Betty Duncan to Conal O'Riordan. She later became Goldring's first wife and the mother of his two children

Ronald Okeden Alexander fonds

The fonds consists of records documenting the following World War I campaigns: Kemmel, St. Eloi Craters, Somme, Regina Trench, Hill 70, South Arras, Lievin, March to the Rhine from Mons, the Rhine-Bridgehead Cologne-Bonn, and Waterloo. The fonds includes trench maps and orders. The fonds also includes miscellaneous maps and research material relating to the collapse of New France. Also included is a staff photo of officers at Pacific Command (Work Point Barracks) when Alexander was General Officer Commanding.

Norman Alford fonds

The fonds consists of correspondence and drafts of Alford's critical works, including his biography of George Egerton (Mrs. Mary Chavelita Bright), Alford's Ph.D. dissertation on the Rhymers' Club, drafts of works on Stephen Hudson (Sydney Schiff), George Eliot, Aldous Huxley and A. Bronson Alcott; notebooks and journals kept by Alford, with holograph notes on his works of fiction and autobiography as well as fragments of stories; drafts of Alford's novel "A Garden Enclosed", drafts of short stories; and drafts of Alford's autobiographical works "In Pursuit of Any Arse", "Time Exposure", and "Travelling Hopefully: A Simple Record of Unsentimental Journeys to the Okanagan and Thereabouts, 1977-1978", including photographs; and correspondence with Howard Gerwing (UVic SC Librarian), 1984-1990.

The collection consists of letters from A.R. Orage, 1933-1934, manuscripts by Armstrong for "Focus" 21, "The Literary Digest", etc. (1945-1970) plus a review, a note, and a mss for "The Poetry Review" by G.S. Fraser, 1950-1952. Also included in the collection are enclosures from "Ten Contemporaries" [1932 & 1933]. These enclosures consist of research material and correspondence: re the publication of the two volumes, and the writers included in them.
