The fonds consists of the following series: Committees, Programmes, Planning, Open Houses, Land Acquisitions, and Buildings. Also includes plans for the construction of a marine science vessel, which was later named the "John Strickland."
Fonds consists of 2, 595 photographic slides of architectural and archaeological sites in Greece, Italy, Jordan and other countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. Also included are photographs of reconstructed technologies in Victoria, Vancouver and other locations in North America.
Many of the photographs are originals taken by Dr. John Oleson or other faculty members of the Greek and Roman Studies department at the University of Victoria.
