Fonds reflects Niela Miller’s public involvement in transgender education and counseling of the trans* community and “gender identity explorers.” Miller’s work, focused primarily in the United States, is represented here in the records of her workshops, presentations, and publications. Fonds consists of correspondence, notes, photographs, publications and reviews, brochures, graphic materials, audiocassettes, and other materials.

The fonds consists of six interviews of uneven quality offering interesting details of battle experiences particularly of the difficult in the trenches. The fonds also consists of 30 colour photographs of World War One veterans interviewed by Elizabeth Hazlitte between 1983-1984. The interviews are included in the Military Oral History collection. The fonds consists of Caroline White's research towards her M.A. thesis, "Re/defining gender and sex: educating for trans, transsexual, and intersex access and inclusion to sexual assault centres and transition houses" (Vancouver: University of British Columbia, 2002). Her research touches on discrimination, activism, violence, women-only spaces, gender theories, critical race theory, disability studies, and legal cases. Material includes research papers, articles, committee documents, zines, pamphlets, clippings, and correspondence.

Fonds consists of material documenting Hammond's work as a Court Monitor including: clipping files on court cases, filed by date; general clipping files, by subject; and case books arranged by name of offender and date plus an extensive pamphlet collection on family violence and sex crimes. The case books include unidentified court coding, and colour coding.
Fonds consists of published and unpublished manuscripts written by Graham, professional and personal correspondence, photographs, writing workshop brochures and notes, as well as records of various public readings. The fonds also includes a variety of journals, newspapers, and chapbooks that Graham contributed to.
The fonds consists of typescripts of an unpublished novel "The Harmless Snake"; 3 unpublished books of poetry: "The Simon Poems", "Thy Harry's Company", "A Motley to the View"; typescript copies of five Egoyan screenplays (reworked by Bell) including: "Family Viewing" (1987) in 3 drafts; "Speaking Parts" (1989) in 5 drafts; The Adjuster (1991) 1 draft, "Exotica" (1995) 1 draft (not reworked by Bell) and "The Sweet Hereafter" (1997) in 3 drafts; some additional holograph notes and a notebook regarding the scripts and correspondence from Atom Egoyan to Bell 1985-1995 regarding the films. Additionally, there is correspondence from Irving Layton and others.
