Series consists of a copy of Barbara Roberts Ph.D. diploma and a copy of her transcript from the University of Ottawa; curricula vitae and job applications; an evaluation of her teaching at the University of Saskatchewan; a file containing information on courses she was to teach at Concordia University, 1987-1988; and files on salary review, tenure and study leave and annual self-assessment files, and the first few chapters of a detective story set at Athabasca University.

Series consists of correspondence with libraries, archives and academics in Canada and England, correspondence with relatives and acquaintances of Gertrude Richardson; notes from Gertrude Richardson's case file, Towers Hospital, Humberstone near Leicester, notes re the Brandon Mental Hospital and transcripts from Gertrude Richardson's patients file there; transcripts of articles and poems published by Gertrude Richardson in The West, The Voice, The Canadian Forward, the Leicester Pioneer, the Midland Free Press, the Swan River Star and the Swan River Times as well as transcripts of poems held by the Swan Valley History Museum and a flyer, presumably by Gertrude Richardson, soliciting support for "The Women's Crusade" against war; grant applications; correspondence with publishers; and reviews of A reconstructed world: a feminist biography of Gertrude Richardson.

Peace movement

Series consists of records that do not fall specifically into other series, such as publications, and includes minutes, newspaper clippings and correspondence documenting Barbara Roberts involvement with Ovum Pacis, the Women's Peace University in Burlington, Vermont, 1989-1991; correspondence about her research project on Canadian Women peace activists, 1986-1988, and release forms for some of the oral history interviews Barbara Roberts conducted for this research (the tapes are listed in series 15); miscellaneous newsletters and draft articles re the peace movement, 1988-1997.

(1961-1985); 14 copies of letters to Earle Birney from Beryl Rowland (1962-1985); 2 letters to Beryl Rowland from Hugh MacLennan (1969), and 14 miscellaneous letters with enclosures (1985-1987).
