Fonds reflects Wise’s artistic inspirations, philosophical development, research interests, interactions with fellow artists and patrons, and relationships with galleries, art dealers, schools and arts organizations. The fonds consists of correspondence, sales lists, exhibition catalogues and lists, photographs, clippings, sketches, poems and calligraphy, scrapbooks and notebooks, teaching materials, curricula vitae and biographical documents, publications, and seals and other objects used by Wise in his art practice. Correspondents include Robert Amos, Pat Martin Bates, Pat Bovey, Brian Brett, Lin Chien-Shih, Stephen Cummings, Fleming Jorgensen, Stephen Gislason, Colin and Sheila Graham, Robin Hopper, Nick and Karin Koerner, Ramon Kubicek, Lobsang Lhalungpa, Chin-Shik Lin, Brian Longworth, Max Maynard, Avon Neal, Gary Lee Nova, Toni Onley, P.K. Fonds consists of correspondence and household finances, 1931-1951; Scott's 11 published scores, 1929-1931; Scott's 17 manuscript scores, 1931-1937; records of the Victoria Plectral Orchestra, 1935-1946; music students register, 1930-1949; diaries, 1931, 1934-1951. The diaries include short daily entries about weather, students, appointments and household activities. On occasion, the back page of annual diaries contain a list of items such as orchestra compositions and rents paid. The donation also included a tin sign for Scott's music studio: "Percy Scott Studio: mandolin, guitar etc."

The collection consists of two photograph albums comprised of photographs taken during Cameron's travels up the Mackenzie River with her niece, Jessie Cameron Brown, May to September, 1908, and photographs taken during Cameron's trip to Britain, 1909-1911. There are also photos of Cameron's trip to Alberta and the Northwest Territories along the Pace River. Some Canadian photographs were published in Cameron's book "The New North: Being Some Account of a Woman's Journey Through Canada to the Arctic" (1910).

Fonds consists of records related to Alan Austin’s activities as an educator and phycologist, including materials generated through major research projects and student projects, arranged into four series: 1. Seaweed Inventory Project; 2. Victoria Phenology Project; 3. Teaching and student material; and 4. Aquatic ecology projects. The Seaweed Inventory Project (SIP), in particular, is a valuable, detailed record and baseline survey of a substantial part of the coastline of BC, and the vegetation and biota (thus measurable on a global scale) supported at the time of the surveys done in 1972 and 1974. These data stand as a permanent record against which any coastal changes can be compared and measured. The sedentary, attached nature of coastal biota makes it particularly responsive to, and thus a sensitive indicator of changes in their environment. Forces of change include oil spills, toxic spills, runoff from land developments, marina construction, and natural catastrophic events. Series 1 has been arranged into four sub-series: SIP reports; SIP films and photographs; SIP correspondence and field notes; and SIP reference literature.
