Fonds consists of lists of Chinese deceased in Canada, 1937; leave permits issued to the Chinese Hospital in Vancouver, Victoria, and other areas of B.C., 1908-1909; donation and fundraising records, subscription booklets, records of income and expenditures, receipts, Free Miners Certificates, national bonds, 1884-1912; population data; correspondence from the Commander in Shanghai, 1932; minutes of the Chinese Public School; correspondence regarding donations for victims of famines, droughts, and floods in China, and booklets recording donations; records of the Chinese Hospital, including report books on patients, doctor order books and consultation forms, 1956-1976. The fonds consists of material relating to Lyons's work as a BC Parks developer, botanist, author, lecturer, independent documentary filmmaker, wildlife photographer, and world traveller. It includes a variety of textual records, moving images, photographic materials, sound recordings, and maps. The fonds has been arranged into six series: 1) published materials; 2) scripts; 3) field notebooks; 4) photographic materials; 5) audiovisual materials; and 6) miscellaneous records.

The fonds consists of two accessions of material relating to Charlotte Girard academic career, teaching career and publications, including correspondence, research work and drafts of papers, drafts of book, "Canada in World Affairs, vol,.XIII" and Girard's Ph.D. dissertation.
Girard, Charlotte, 1924-2020
The fonds consists of a framed computer scan of a photograph. Vernon Smith, who is in the photograph, has supplied the Title and information above the picture. He has also provided identification of the staff below the photo. On the back of the photo is a photocopy of a clipping from the Victoria Times Colonist" dated 14 Aug 1995, relating to the history of the Station. Smith has typed on the top of it a list of early members of staff and below it, a list of people missing from the photograph. Copies of photographs of the station (from the National Archives of Canada) are located in the Bruce Brown collection (including the one in the clipping). There is also a copy of a scrapbook kept when the WRENS replaced the male personnel in 1944, in the Dorothy Robertson fonds.

Fonds consists of six files of research material used in the production of Sedgwick's master of arts thesis concerning the Chinese community in Victoria, B.C.: The Context of Economic Change and Continuity in an Urban Overseas Chinese Community. The fonds includes photographs not reproduced in the thesis. The fonds consists of textual records, photographs and ephemera from Charles Moore's service in the English Royal Marines Band and the Royal Canadian Naden Band in Esquimalt, B.C. The fonds is divided into four series: textual records, ephemera, photographs, and sheet music. Textual records include official documents and certificates, correspondence, a resume, military narratives, newspaper clippings, and drawings. Ephemera includes medals, badges, clothing and accessories, souvenirs, small music equipment, a cassette, and diary. Photographs include a green photograph album and photographs rehoused from a blue binder, depicting subjects such as military bands, Moore's fellow soldiers and bandmates, naval ships, scenes from countries visited by the Royal Marines Band after WWII, and Moore's family. Sheet music includes arrangements by Moore for instruments and conductor, as well as his original composition, Original March.

The fonds consists of a MS notebook (photocopy) and transcript of Major Charles McDowall Smyth's account of the end of WWI and the Armistice, dated Nov. 12, 1918. Smyth was in the Canadian Engineers in France and Belgium. Biographical materials include photocopies of photographs and obituary.
