The fonds consists of RCAF Pilot's Flying Log Book, written by Rolls while at No. 6 Elementary Flying Training School (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan), 1941; RCAF Observer's and Air Gunner's Flying Log Book, while Rolls was at No. 3 Air Observer School, Regina, No. 12 Observers G.R. Course (1942), and with RCAF Squadrons, 1942-1945, including copies of messages from Eastern Air Command and monthly analysis of flying and proficiency assessments. Fonds includes various loose enclosures.
The collection consists of a handwritten letter by Yeats to A. J. Leventhal, together with its envelope and a handwritten letter to an unidentified businessman, possibly a book seller; a hand coloured card from the Cuala Press (no.148) of "The Lake Isle of Innisfree"; typescript of "The World of W.B. Yeats: Essays in Perspective" edited by Skelton and Saddlemyer (incomplete set), together with a pre-publication copy of the book.
