The fonds consists of an immigration certificate issued to a Mr. Chong, a 40-year old labourer who landed in Victoria B.C. on the SS Tacoma on 22 October 1903.
The fonds consists of pen and ink drawings, pencil sketches, the manuscript for a novel, and some correspondence regarding work submitted for publication and patents. All works appear to have been created in the 1950s. The drawings and sketches total approximately 400; they include work for a series of cartoons featuring a character called “Professor Piltdown”, and a 51-strip cartoon series for an 18th century Scottish story “Black Roderick.” The novel is titled “Murder for the Title” and noted by Small to be a sports thriller. All works appear to have been unpublished.
