The collection consists of postcards of Victoria and British Columbia.
Fonds consists primarily of photographic prints, negatives and contact sheets of historic buildings and properties - preparatory material for Franklin’s co-authored publications on Victoria’s architecture. The fonds is arranged in four series: photographs - Victoria: A History in Architecture, 1843-1929; photographs - Exploring Victoria’s Architecture; architectural drawing - East School elevation (Lord Strathcona School), Vancouver, BC, 1897; and publications and printed matter.

Fonds documents Munro's activities as a diplomat and Member of Parliament, personal research interests, and ongoing political concerns, and include correspondence, memoranda, manuscripts and research materials. Research subjects include Abortion, the Canada/Alaska Boundary Dispute, the Canadian Constitution, External Affairs, Eugene Forsey, the Middle-East, the National Debt, Sidney, B.C., and South Africa. RMB material includes a bookmark from the RMB School of Music, Certificate of Service in the Royal Marines, Contract of Enlistment, correspondence (chiefly letters of reference), Certificate of Service in the Royal Canadian Navy, Application For... Professional Examination, Certificates of Education, Certificate of Discharge, Customs Canada - Settlers' Effects Entry, and a 1944 newspaper clipping, "How the Scharnhorst Was Trapped".
RCN material includes correspondence, pension contribution ledgers, military association membership cards, Certificate of Service from the Canadian Forces, Canadian Service leave authorization, and a photocopy of his certificate of service in the Royal Marine Forces.

The fonds consists of textual records, photographs and ephemera from Charles Moore's service in the English Royal Marines Band and the Royal Canadian Naden Band in Esquimalt, B.C. The fonds is divided into four series: textual records, ephemera, photographs, and sheet music. Textual records include official documents and certificates, correspondence, a resume, military narratives, newspaper clippings, and drawings. Ephemera includes medals, badges, clothing and accessories, souvenirs, small music equipment, a cassette, and diary. Photographs include a green photograph album and photographs rehoused from a blue binder, depicting subjects such as military bands, Moore's fellow soldiers and bandmates, naval ships, scenes from countries visited by the Royal Marines Band after WWII, and Moore's family. Sheet music includes arrangements by Moore for instruments and conductor, as well as his original composition, Original March.

Subseries consists of photographs inside a green photograph album and photographs rehoused from a blue binder, chiefly from Moore's military service. Subjects include military bands, Moore's fellow soldiers and bandmates, naval ships, scenes from Asian countries visited by the Royal Marines Band after WWII including the devastation of Hiroshima, and Moore's family upon arriving in Canada. Many photographs have been annotated with descriptions and dates.
