Fonds consists of records relating to his career as a journalist and to his family life in Victoria. It has been arranged in two series, Autobiography and Writing. The Autobiography series consists of Archies autobiographical works, which document his service in World War I and his family life and career. It has been arranged into three sub-series: All in A Lifetime, My Life in the Army, and Travel. The Writing series consists of his published and unpublished work, and background material for it. The series shows his interest in making new generations of Victoria residents aware of their citys history and aware of World War I history. It has been arranged into two sub-series: Articles and Stories, and Broadcasts. Records include typed manuscripts, clippings of Archies published articles, photographs including photograph albums, diaries, scrapbooks, war medals, and ephemera.

The fonds consists of textual records, photographs and ephemera from Charles Moore's service in the English Royal Marines Band and the Royal Canadian Naden Band in Esquimalt, B.C. The fonds is divided into four series: textual records, ephemera, photographs, and sheet music. Textual records include official documents and certificates, correspondence, a resume, military narratives, newspaper clippings, and drawings. Ephemera includes medals, badges, clothing and accessories, souvenirs, small music equipment, a cassette, and diary. Photographs include a green photograph album and photographs rehoused from a blue binder, depicting subjects such as military bands, Moore's fellow soldiers and bandmates, naval ships, scenes from countries visited by the Royal Marines Band after WWII, and Moore's family. Sheet music includes arrangements by Moore for instruments and conductor, as well as his original composition, Original March.

Item consists of sound recordings of Debby Yaffe discussing her childhood, schooling and family life in California, including gendered family roles, expectations of femininity in the 1950s, university, marriage and life in Europe, her feminist consciousness raising experience in London, teaching high school in London, the differences between English and American societies, sex discrimination, radical feminist activities, restructuring of sexual relationships, life in Canada and involvement in the Women's movement in Victoria, Status of Women Action group, Everywoman's Books, disordered eating as feminist issue, work as a fitness instructor, abortion rights, impact on feminist awareness of the December 6, 1989 killings at École Polytechnique in Montréal, radical feminism, women's lives in Canada and England, life as a lesbian, resisting dominant domestic relationship constructs, teaching Women's Studies, feminist theory, and the Victoria Women's Movement Archives.

The Debby Yaffe interview was conducted by Joy Fisher as a research project in the course History 358A, "Women in Canada," taught by Dr. Lynne Marks, which covered histories of women in Canada from the era of New France to the present. Fisher"s resulting essay is entitled "Riding the Wave/ Watching the Wave: A Second Wave Feminist Talks about Gender Ideologies and her Life."
