The fonds consists of a handwritten bio of Gooch, plus a typed transcription and carbon (possibly by Daphne Fiske). Also included are photocopies of Gooch's handwritten journal comprised of "A 'free run' in the balloon 'Vivid'" [October 18th 1909, 31 l.]. This account was published in The Malahat Review No. 11, 1969; and "Protagonists", his account of moving the artillery battery, of which he was the commanding officer, from England to Salonica and through the campaign there until his discharge.
