George Randolph Pearkes fonds

The fonds consists of records relating to Pearkes' military career, 1933-1976; Pearkes' personal and family papers, 1918-1978; and reference material including newsletters, magazines and other publications, 1906-1985. Records include correspondence between Pearkes and the Royal Canadian Legion, citations and birthday congratulations, Information Documents on the George R. Pearkes Children's Foundation, and a file relating to Mrs. Blytha Pearkes' activities with the Wives of Progressive Conservative Members and Senators, including membership lists and correspondence. Fonds also includes publications collected by Pearkes, programmes for official functions, annual reports of the Union Club of British Columbia and a numerous photographs of his life as a soldier and politician.

W. S. Graham fonds

The fonds consists primarily of typescript from "The Nightfishing" used for a radio broadcast; poetry worksheets for "Implements In Their Places", "Malcolm Mooney's Land", and "The Nightfishing"; correspondence with Crieff Williamson and Robin Skelton; and four notebooks, together with Robin Skelton's research notes. Also included is a typescript of "Aimed At Nobody", which was published posthumously, together with related publishing documents and correspondence. The final items are two folders of Graham's artwork and a silk screen portrait of Graham by William Featherston.

Also included are watercolours, sketches, and photographs plus typescripts, with holograph corrections, for "Max", "Quiet Days in Clichy", Miller's preface to "Hollywood Hallucination" by Parker Tyler, "This Is My Answer", and "Just Wild About Harry".

Rona Murray fonds

The fonds consists firstly, of correspondence, incoming and outgoing (1945-2003): business, personal, and professional, including among the correspondents: Earle Birney, Susan Musgrave, Howard O'Hagan, P. K. Page, Jane Rule, Robin Skelton, Phyllis Webb, George Woodcock, and many others; secondly, of manuscripts of her own work - principally, her many works of poetry, drama, reviews, and prose, including her books: Journey Back To Peshawar ; Memory of Elsewhere-and the play A Family of Sorts. There are also manuscript of some of her colleagues - including J. Michael Yates, Michael Walbank, Theresa Kishkan, and Robin Skelton; thirdly, of materials from several literary organizations that she was involved with, including the Victoria Literary Arts Festival and the League of Canadian Poets - Women's Caucus ; fourthly, of ephemera, including photographs. The fonds consists of correspondence between Rona Murray and Phyllis Serota and a first draft typescript of "Adam and Eve in Middle Age".

Included among these authors are Austin Clarke, Padraic Colum, Thomas Kinsella, and Richard Murphy. Also included are translations of earlier works in Irish and an edition of one of W. B. Yeats' works.
