Series consists of academic writing for journals, books, talks, and other professional activities. The series includes drafts, notes, papers regarding publication, publicity and reviews of his writings, and Alan Drengson’s Ph.D. dissertation. The series also includes two subseries. The first consists of referee reports written for student’s Ph.D. dissertations, honorary degree recommendations for Merv Wilkinson, and reviews of articles and manuscripts considered for publication. The second subseries consists of professional correspondence.

Eliot, Virginia Woolf, James Joyce, Lawrence Durrell, Aldous Huxley, Alister Kershaw, Amy Lowell, Brigit Patmore and H.G. Wells. Doyle's correspondents include Aldington's daughter, Catherine Aldington Guillaume, his sister Margery Lyon-Gilbert and brother Tony Aldington, H.D.'s daughter Perdita Schaffner, and numerous colleagues and publishers of Aldington. Also included are copies of newspaper clippings, magazine articles and correspondence relating to Aldington's works.
