The fonds consists of materials that are reflective of the functions and activities of the Bastion Theatre Company of British Columbia, previously operating as the Bastion Theatre Studio and the Victoria Theatre Studio, arranged into eight series: Board records, 1963-1989; Employment records, 1968-1988; Education records, 1965-1988; Marketing records, 1965,1969, 1974-1988; Administrative records, 1963-1988; Financial records, 1963-1989; Fundraising records, 1965-1989; and Production records, 1965-1989.
The collection consists of selected correspondence, news items, signed programmes, descriptions of each instrument, and a photograph of Murray Adaskin, Stephen Kolbinson and the instruments.
Fonds consists of research data collected for three book projects on music history in Canada, B.C., and Victoria, including photocopies or slides of 1850-1950 newspaper articles, reviews, retrospective articles, and biographical data. Also included are some original programs from the period.
The fonds includes records relating to the administration of events and courses other than the Faculty's regular course offerings, records illustrating the Faculty's role in University-wide administration and planning, and records of organizations directly or indirectly related to the Faculty. It includes the following series: University Committees, 1957-1987; Events and Summer Sessions Planning 1966-1975; Company One, 1971-1975; and Maltwood Museum, 1964-1977.

Fonds consists of the following series: Constitution, 1950-1981; Correspondence, 1959-1974; Financial ledgers, 1926-1960; Meeting files with minutes and reports, 1950-1983; Scrapbooks of newspaper clippings and annual reports, 1935-1939; 1980-1989. The meeting files include financial statements.
The fonds consists of general committee files that contain an incomplete set of minutes, and final recommendations; and course files with departmental submissions. The chairs' files contain correspondence regarding contentious issues, and some departmental submission and minutes. For a complete understanding of the committee's work, both files need to be reviewed.

The fonds consists of programs, brochures, clippings and photographs, arranged by production. Productions include: a Bistro Car (1980); Canterbury Tales (1979); Godspell (1978); Man of La Mancha (1986); Pirates of Penzance (1984); Rodgers and Hart (1987); Two Score and More, nd; and several unidentified productions.

Fonds consists of correspondence and household finances, 1931-1951; Scott's 11 published scores, 1929-1931; Scott's 17 manuscript scores, 1931-1937; records of the Victoria Plectral Orchestra, 1935-1946; music students register, 1930-1949; diaries, 1931, 1934-1951. The diaries include short daily entries about weather, students, appointments and household activities. On occasion, the back page of annual diaries contain a list of items such as orchestra compositions and rents paid. The donation also included a tin sign for Scott's music studio: "Percy Scott Studio: mandolin, guitar etc."
