The collection consists of 11 mounted leaves of pen and ink drawings copied from various sources, with holograph notations. The costumes are from 1400-1720.

The fonds consists of a volume of red leather with gold decoration. The title is printed in pencil on the inside of the front cover. There are thirty-nine clippings of the cartoons pasted in. A few have legends and another few are identified in pencil. Pasted to the front flyleaf is a holograph pass to the gallery of the House of Commons issued to Mr. Maude by Robert Ferguson on March 27, 1830.

The collection consists of a sketchbook with drawings largely of churches, country houses, and other architectural subjects. It includes a few loose and pasted-in sketches at the back. There is a poem of unknown derivation under the first sketch in the book, preceded by an index to 62 sketches dated 1821-1824. Later sketches are pasted in or loose.

The collection consists of a leather bound manuscript (probably unpublished) with the page ends gilded. All of the contents are handwritten. The contents consist of a title-page; a dedicatory epistle to the Rev. R.W. Dibdin (4 pp., both sides); and the text (36 pp., rectos only). Inscribed on the flyleaf in pencil are the words ""Presumably the original MS and unique. It is probable that this is unpublished (not listed in NUC).

The collection consists of two letters from Belcher in 1855 and two from McClintock in 1869. The first Belcher letter is concerned with the Minie rifle, and the second with personal matters. The first McClintock letter is concerned with charts and exploration of the west African coast. He mentions Belcher in this regard. The second letter is about personal matters.
