The collection consists of two photograph albums comprised of photographs taken during Cameron's travels up the Mackenzie River with her niece, Jessie Cameron Brown, May to September, 1908, and photographs taken during Cameron's trip to Britain, 1909-1911. There are also photos of Cameron's trip to Alberta and the Northwest Territories along the Pace River. Some Canadian photographs were published in Cameron's book "The New North: Being Some Account of a Woman's Journey Through Canada to the Arctic" (1910).

Photograph Album #1

The album consists of photographs taken during Cameron's travels up the Mackenzie River with her niece, Jessie Cameron Brown. The contents of the album include photographs of individuals and families outdoors.

Photograph Album #2

The series consists of an album that contains photographs that Cameron took when she travelled to Alberta and the Northwest Territories along the Peace River. The contents of the album include photographs of individuals and families outdoors in the fields. There are photos of farmland, crops, and fishing scenes in locations such as Lesser Slave Lake and Vermilion-on-the-Peace. Cameron addresses the album to George Henry Ham in 1911. The captions are written in English, with the caption for the tenth photograph written in Latin ("Dulce Domum": Sweet home). Cameron is present in three of the photographs.
