Fonds consists of promissory notes to David Mcrae (1783-1786); land titles (1781-1782); Account of Antoine Plant, nd; and inventories of goods, property and debts due to the estate of David Mcrae (1800).

The Frank Sylvester series includes: cannery contracts, legal invoices, lecture manuscripts, and a diary. The Cecelia Davies Sylvester series includes: an autograph book, and scrapbooks containing clippings, photographs and ephemera. The fonds consists of records documenting the administration and research projects of TRIUMF (Tri-University Meson Facility), particularly the TRIUMF operations and experiments at the University of Victoria. Fonds includes correspondence of TRIUMF chairman John Climenhaga and of R.M. Pearce, agenda, minutes of meetings, financial records, records of TRIUMF users' groups (Slow Neutron, Meson, Proton and Radiochemistry), proposals and contracts for TRIUMF projects, and publications by Professor Pearce on various aspects of nuclear physics.
