Reginald Biscoe fonds

The fonds consists of Sergeant Biscoe's records of service from World War II. These include his service and pay books, as well as his notes on the German Army. Sergeant Biscoe's fonds also contains a scrapbook of newspaper clippings and photographs, various ephemera from the war, correspondence, and aerial photographs of Germany.

Bernard Charles Lunn fonds

The fonds consists of the records of Bernard Lunn's military career. It contains hand-written notes on regimental activities. The fonds also includes ephemera collected by Mr. Lunn during the World Wars, programs of the 16th Battalion's re-union dinners, details of his trip to Europe to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Armistice Day, and various newspaper clippings.

James Brigham fonds

The fonds consists of correspondence, creative and academic working papers, and materials relating to Lawrence Durrell and his circle. In addition to Brigham's published and unpublished works, the fonds also hold unpublished materials by other authors. The Durrell-related materials include Brigham's partial reconstruction of Durrell's working library from his home in Sommières where Brigham visited him. The library was also reconstructed from Brigham's research at the Centre de Rechercher de Lawrence Durrell, founded by Francoise Kestman-Durrell, which has since been sold to l'Université Paris X in Nanterre. The fonds also includes a number of photographs.

Dickens Fellowship (Victoria Branch) fonds

The fonds of the Victoria Branch of the Dickens Fellowship is comprised of documents reflecting the activities of the Branch, such as correspondence, meeting minutes, membership information, programmes, scrapbooks, posters, menus, and financial records, dating from 1913 to 1998. The fonds also includes ephemera pertaining to British author Charles Dickens, including scrapbooks, greeting cards, and portraits, which the Dickens Fellowship compiled. The fonds is a window into the Fellowship’s founding, originally as the Victoria Dickens Club, events, and connection with other branches and the Dickens Fellowship. Many of the documents reflect the work of Dorothy Hewitt White who served the Fellowship in several capacities. The fonds provides insight into the ways in which Charles Dickens has been read, performed, and commemorated in Victoria, and more broadly, the social activities of a literary society in Victoria, predominantly in the first half of the twentieth-century.
