The fonds consists of correspondence, financial records, medical records, contracts, handwritten notes, photographs, grant applications, publications produced by the Erickson Educational Foundation (EEF) and related organizations, mailing lists, brochures, invoices and receipts, graphic materials, objects, cartographic materials, property plans, musical compositions and art, blueprints, property and lot plans, a videocassette, audio-cassettes, and other materials.

The collection is focused on understanding how attitudes and representations of transgender people have developed and changed over time. It looks at three broad aspects of transgender: biology and the body, gender expression, and erotic expression and representation through the lenses of expert knowledge, as recorded by scientists and social scientists; transgender-community-member knowledge, as recorded by and for transgender people themselves; and common-sense knowledge, as recorded by and for members of the general public.

This extensive collection includes transgender books, magazines, newspaper clippings, scholarly papers, audio tapes, video tapes, films, photographs, artifacts, ephemera, biographical and autobiographical writings, and miscellaneous papers.

The fonds primarily consists of records related to Red Jordan Arobateau’s life as an author, poet, and playwright. These include early and late drafts of written works. The fonds also contains some personal papers, photographs, audio-visual materials, and several artefacts.

Fonds consists of records related to Findlay's work on the Kimberley Nixon v. Vancouver Rape Relief Society case; and a selection of publications on the experiences of trans individuals, particularly in relation to the legal system.

The fonds documents Aiyyana Maracle life and work as performance artist and writer, creator of and participant in arts festivals, her committee and conference work, scholarship, teaching, Six Nations land rights activism, transgender visibility and health projects, and personal activities. Records consist of textual records, graphic material, analog and digital sound and video recordings, and objects. Objects are comprised of garments, masks, accessories, animal bones and skins, and miscellaneous objects used in performance art and art installations. The fonds is arranged into ten series: performance art, visual art, writing, scholarship, conferences and committees, Six Nations activism, two-spirit and transgender material, notebooks and loose notes, personal records, and bibliographic records.

The fonds consists of papers related to Green’s 1969 book Transsexualism and Sex Reassignment, papers from various conferences, material related to 1972 paper “Playroom Toy Preferences,” records related to grants and payments, research material for 1986 paper “Lesbian Mothers and their Children,” collection of literature on effects of pornography and obscenity, and sample interview questions for parents. Also contains other professional papers including grant applications, correspondence, and research material.

The fonds consists of videocassettes and articles related to cross dressing. Also includes material related to Sandra Samons' work as a social worker/therapist in the transgender community.
