Fonds reflects Carol Cross’s art process as well as her interest and involvement in the women’s movement. Fonds consists of Cross’s two handmade books: “In Their Words” and “Ten Historical BC Women”, as well as accompanying exhibition materials and related correspondence and ephemera.

The fonds consists primarily of drafts and research materials used to write his book "Frontier Theatre: A History of Nineteenth Century Theatrical Entertainment in the Canadian Far West and Alaska", published in 1982. Fonds includes musical scores and librettos, programs, photographs, scrapbook and four unpublished plays: "Murder Pattern," 1936; "Ascend as the Sun"; "Earth Song", by Herman Voaden; and "The Dragon", by Bertram Brooker.
Fonds consists of research files relating to Nowosad's study of Richard Ciccimarra, including: correspondence; research notes and lectures; essays; biography manuscript files; publications; Ciccimarra writings; photographs of Ciccimarra's works; taped lectures by Robin Skelton and programmes on Ciccimarra; and audiocassettes of oral history interviews about Ciccimarra with Penny Auersperg (first wife), Stephie Wilson, Vicky Husband, Nicole Frechette, Robert DeCastro, Elza Mayhew, Colin Graham, Myfanwy Pavelic, Herbert Siebner, Karl Spreitz and others.

The fonds consists of photocopies of articles about theatre in Victoria, a photocopy of Lambert's "A History and Directory of Commercial Playhouses in Victoria, British Columbia from the Beginning to the Present Day", and correspondence relating to the publication of Lambert's work.
