The fonds reflects Norman Nawrocki’s interest and participation in the anarchist movement and numerous activist organizations, as well as his role at Open Road and his career as a musician and sex educator. The series includes ca. 1,300 issues of ca. 435 ephemeral, fugitive, and underground periodical/occasional and monograph publications, 1960s and later, mostly published in Canada, the US, and Europe, relating to anarchy, gay/lesbian/transgender rights, environmental issues, First Nations and indigenous peoples, war, etc.
