The collection consists of 28 b/w photographs. Includes an oversized 1916 photograph of the 143rd Battalion C.E.F. and other materials pertaining to the 143rd Battalion (B.C. Bantams).
The collection consists of photographs created from different processes between the 1870s and 1920s. The older photographs are mostly unidentified portraits with the more recent photographs including scenery and landscapes. Some of the locations photographed are identifiable and include Niagara Falls, Kamloops, Hamilton, Duluth, the Steamer United Empire, and Del Rio Orchard in Oregon. Also includes photographs and photograph albums illustrating historical photograph techniques, including daguerreotype, tin type, and albumen prints.
The collection consists of six colour transparency strips featuring photographic portraits of Rupert Raj. The photographs were taken by Jennifer Rowsom for "Eye Weekly" (Toronto) in 2001 or 2002.
