Fonds consists of the following series: Annual Environmental Reports, 1971-98; ICM staff environmental reports, 1970-2000; University reports, 1970-2000; Consultants' reports, 1970-99; Government reports, 1970-97; and Other reports, 1970-2000. These reports document the history of the mine, as well as the monitoring information, problems, and solutions it dealt with over the years. The first two series are arranged by date. The remaining series are arranged alphabetically by author. The report files often also include scientific articles, newspaper clippings, letters and related documentation.

The fonds consists of records pertaining to the University of Victoria's Faculty of Arts and Science, Joint Faculties, Faculty Association, Faculty of Graduate Studies, and various university committees and department head meetings. Records include minutes, notes, reports, student lists, committee recommendations, curriculum evaluation forms, and student registration statistics. Fonds includes copies of Climenhaga's curriculum vitae and some published articles. Fonds also includes records relating to the Vancouver Island Hockey League and its predecessor, the Esquimalt and District Amateur Hockey League, including correspondence, minutes, financial statements and rule books.

Michael Waldichuk fonds

Fonds consist primarily of the correspondence and manuscripts of Dr. Michael Waldichuk specific to environmental issues on the Canadian Pacific coast. The fonds consist of four series: Personal, Cine-film, Pacific Coast Entire, and Pacific Coast Regions. The Personal series contains correspondence, records containing information about Dr. Waldichuk’s academic and professional career, and a bibliography of publications written by Dr. Waldichuk. The Cine-film series consists of 275 metres of film documenting survey procedures, particularly at Crofton Pulp Mill. The Pacific Coast Entire series consists of documents relating to the Pacific Coast as a whole. Pacific Coast Region consists of documents organized into 15 sub-series identified by environmentally distinct regions. The fonds also contains publications received by Dr. Waldichuk in the course of his activities.
