Fonds consists of records documenting Johnson's political and business careers, including constitutions and bylaws of political organizations, trade agreements, political cartoons and clippings; business records including correspondence, daily journals, financial records and contracts; personal family correspondence and insurance records, Johnson's army diary, and records relating to Byron's father, Oliver Johnson; photographs of the Johnson family and of Johnson with his cabinet and colleagues; correspondence regarding Johnson's work with the RCAF; publications, including newsletters, magazines, journals, annual reports and copies of speeches, some of which are annotated by Johnson or contain photographs, articles or obituaries about him; records regarding the visit of Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip to Victoria, October 1951, including invitations to functions and photograph album of the visit prepared by the Daily Colonist newspaper.

The fonds consists of textual records and objects documenting Dr. Dana Beyer's LGBTQ activism, political campaigns, and medical research. Series consists of material from original accession, and is arranged into four subseries: activism records, political campaign records, DES research material, and ephemera.

Fonds consists of records relating to the National Committee for the New Party (1960-1961), which was established to found a new social democratic part in Canada, and Home's records relating to the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC). Fonds includes minutes, reports and texts of speeches given by George Home, clippings, correspondence, policy statements, articles by T.C. Douglas, text of speech by Ed Broadbent, subject files on the Canadian political system and photographs of delegates at labour conventions.

Fonds consists of files relating to Allen's activities in the New Democratic Party, including federal conventions, 1960-1979; Waffle Movement [relating to the document "For an independent socialist Canada," also known as "The Waffle Manifesto" debated at the 1969 federal convention in Winnipeg] 1969-1971; Clippings, 1961-1972; Elections, 1966-1975; Committee for an Independent Canada, 1976-1977; Brief to the Royal Commission on Gasoline Price Structure, 1965; and NDP Speakers Notes and Policy Statement, 1961.

The fonds consists of records created or received by Wilton Littlechild throughout his professional career in politics, law, and Indigenous rights activism. Records predominantly document Littlechild’s activities attending United Nations meetings and conferences, which include his role drafting and promoting the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). Records also reflect Littlechild’s work towards affirming Indigenous Treaty rights within Canadian legal systems, his activities as a Member of Parliament, his advocacy for the WIN games and Indigenous people’s engagement in sport, and his role as a teacher of international Indigenous law.
