The collection consists of letters from A.R. Orage, 1933-1934, manuscripts by Armstrong for "Focus" 21, "The Literary Digest", etc. (1945-1970) plus a review, a note, and a mss for "The Poetry Review" by G.S. Fraser, 1950-1952. Also included in the collection are enclosures from "Ten Contemporaries" [1932 & 1933]. These enclosures consist of research material and correspondence: re the publication of the two volumes, and the writers included in them.

One of these letters relates to reprinting one of Cummings' articles. One Xmas card is a reproduction of a painting by E.E. Cummings (stamped on verso "Painting by E.E. Cummings").

Sherard to O'Riordan about Dowson, after his death.

The collection consists of Duckworth's notebook containing holograph copies of three completed children's stories involving Aunt Minna and Aunt Netty, plus title pages for two more stories. The first and last stories were written by "Aunt Minna" and the third one by "Aunt Netty". The second story was planned for "Aunt Ena" and the fourth for "Cousin Julia". In addition, "Winky blinky" is inscribed in pencil on the last page.

The collection consists of corrected page proofs of "The Years as Catches" (in a proof of the cover), which was published by Oyez in 1966. Also included is a typescript of "I Am A Most Fleshly Man", with its page markings and bibliography; a typescript of "Notes On Proofs"; and some font samples.

The collection consists of correspondence from Durrell to Alfred Perlès, William Woods, John Lehmann, Peter Russell, Tambimuttu (LD's notes on Dylan Thomas in the form of a letter), and others; also included are a corrected proof of "Balthazar"(sent to Perlès); a sketch (1959) by Eve Miller of Henry Miller, Alfred Perlès and Durrell; and, a watercolour by "Oscar Epfs" (pseud. of L. Durrell) done for a record sleeve "Songs of Greece" plus a Xmas card reproduced from the painting in 1964. Alfred Perlès later changed his name to Alfred Barret, and was often addressed by Durrell and Miller as Joe or Joey in their letters to him.
