Clay tablet (43x51x15mm) with economic text and figures from the first year of the reign of King Amar-Suen. The impression on reverse with a pictorial cylinder seal depicting a seated figure is a rare, early example of pictorial printing.

Interview with anthropologist, Dr. Antonia Mills, for Marianne Ainley’s research project, “Re-explorations: Gender, Science and Environment in the 19th and 20th Century Canada and Australia." The interview was conducted by Ainly’s research assistant Anna-Stina Kjellstrom. Mills talks about her academic career, and her experience researching the culture of the Beaver Indians [Dane-Zaa] in northern BC. She also talks about the differences between Indigenous and Western world views around knowledge.

The collection consists of published articles and photographs with commentary by Peter M. McAllister concerning the Great Bear Rainforest Campaign which began in 1990 to protect what is now called the Great Bear Rainforest, a temperate rainforest of approximately 64,000 km2 on the North-Central Coast of British Columbia.

Included alongside the scripts are correspondence, the company’s financial and operational records, including financial statements, employment records, fund raising files, miscellaneous performance projects, journals, reviews, and posters.
