Biographical history

Mary Wallace Hamilton was born in New Westminster B.C. in 1891, attended School on Pender Island and subsequently Victoria High School. She graduated from McGill University in 1914 and taught 37 years (1914–51) at Victoria High School. In 1921–22 she took a year off, traveled around Europe and visited friends and relatives. She died in 1987.
