Administrative history
The Pacific Life Community was established early 1975; record of activities cease in 1977. The group's mandate was to "seek the truth of a nonviolent way of life" and, in particular, to oppose the Trident submarine and missile system to be based in Bangor, Washington. This campaign was to be effected through nonviolent resistance.
Custodial history
When activities ceased, the PLC records went to the Greater Victoria Disarmament Group.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of annual files for the years 1975 to 1977. The records comprise a mission statement, correspondence, newsletters, essays, clippings and announcements.
