Fonds reflects Niela Miller’s public involvement in transgender education and counseling of the trans* community and “gender identity explorers.” Miller’s work, focused primarily in the United States, is represented here in the records of her workshops, presentations, and publications. Fonds consists of correspondence, notes, photographs, publications and reviews, brochures, graphic materials, audiocassettes, and other materials.

Fonds has been arranged into four series: Workshops and presentations; publications and clippings; photographs; and audio-visual.

Fonds reflects Wise’s artistic inspirations, philosophical development, research interests, interactions with fellow artists and patrons, and relationships with galleries, art dealers, schools and arts organizations. The fonds consists of correspondence, sales lists, exhibition catalogues and lists, photographs, clippings, sketches, poems and calligraphy, scrapbooks and notebooks, teaching materials, curricula vitae and biographical documents, publications, and seals and other objects used by Wise in his art practice. Correspondents include Robert Amos, Pat Martin Bates, Pat Bovey, Brian Brett, Lin Chien-Shih, Stephen Cummings, Fleming Jorgensen, Stephen Gislason, Colin and Sheila Graham, Robin Hopper, Nick and Karin Koerner, Ramon Kubicek, Lobsang Lhalungpa, Chin-Shik Lin, Brian Longworth, Max Maynard, Avon Neal, Gary Lee Nova, Toni Onley, P.K. Page, Syn Richards, Martin Segger, Doris Shadbolt, Madeleine Shields, Robin Skelton, Huston Smith, Pete Trower, George Woodcock, and Myken Woods. The fonds has been arranged into four series: art practice; biographical; publications and essays by others; and teaching. The fonds consists of a handwritten postcard from D.V. Gukhale of India together with carbon typescript pages from Gukhale's manuscript "Human Work"; clippings on Charles Darwin; miscellaneous material relating to the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Victoria Centre. Professor D.V. Gukhale was the Founder of the Canada Institute and "worker in the cause of empire solidarity and world peace".

The collection consists of photographs and postcards from Africa, South East Asia, China, Japan, and Korea. Those items from China and surrounding countries appear to be from about the time of The Boxer Rebellion. Only one photograph is dated ( a Korean one -1899). Also included is a copy of the "Gaelic Roller". The S.S. Gaelic appears to have been an American vessel on a journey from Honolulu to the Philippines. The ship's 'paper' has as its editors J. S. MacNider (Shanghai), Grant Wallace (Evening Bulletin, San Francisco), and H. J. Whigham (Morning Post, London). They have signed the front page. The copy is a holograph paste-up version.

Item is a postcard from an album of World War One-related photographs in the William Okell Holden Dodds fonds. Brigadier General Dodds joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1914 and was commanding officer of the 5th Canadian Division Artillery and served in France from 1917-1918.
