The Praxis-Nexus Conference was held January 18-20, 1996, at the University of Victoria, to examine feminist methodology, theory and community. The keynote speaker, Maria Mies from Germany, spoke on, "Liberating women and liberating knowledge: Reflections on two decades of feminist action research."
