Custodial history

The records which constitute the accrual were transferred to the Provincial Archives by Lt Col. P.F. Ramsay, officer commanding, and by the Canadian Scottish Regimental Trustees, in 1960. The records were organized and catalogued in 1987. The records were transferred from the B.C. Archives to UVic Special Collections on May 16th, 2006.

Scope and content

The accrual (formerly numbered GR-1684) consists of the correspondence files of the regimental headquarters, a series which includes nominal rolls, general orders, committee reports, subject files, and personnel records. As well, the records include regimental histories, battle narratives, and newspaper clippings. Records pertaining to the organization and operations of the regiment's two battalions and to the post WW II 66th Light Anti Aircraft Regiment are included also.
