Name of creator
Stanley Krippner is an American psychologist and parapsychologist with an interest in transsexualism.
The fonds was originally part of the Transgender Collection (accession 2014-013) but was removed from the collection and made into a separate fonds. The rationale behind this decision was that the Krippner materials were discrete and needed more context than the Collection could give it.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of correspondence between Krippner, Harry Benjamin, and Zelda Suplee, as well as newspaper clippings related to transsexualism and Benjamin, and pamphlets, newsletters, and ephemera regarding Erickson Educational Foundation.
